Have you ever felt like life is just passing you by? Like you're sitting on the sidelines watching everything fly past you, and you're just staying were you are. I've felt that way, more times than one, all I can here is noise, the people talking down the hall, the teacher telling someone to be quiet, the buzz of the classroom, the cars racing by outside the window. But you just sit there while everything moves around you, wanting to break free from it, wanting to runaway to a faraway place where no one can find you, where you make up the rules. That's why I want to be a writer, because I can control what happens, I can travel to any part of the world, I could travel to Mars if I want to; and no one can hurt me or make me feel small or insignificant. Writing makes me feel better when I'm upset, writing is a part of who I am.

Nanowrimo!!!!
I'll just begin this with the exclamation that November is the worst and the best month of the year. Why is that you ask? BECAUSE OF NANOWRIMO!!!!! This annoying (yet highly amusing) contest where you write 50,000 words in a month. Does that sound crazy to you? It is, trust me. I'm probably clinically insane for even thinking that I could actually finish 50,000 words in one month, I mean, come on. I have two books that I'm supposed to be reading for school, but am I reading them now? No, because I'm doing Nanowrimo, well technically I'm writing this blog, but lets just skip over the specifics shall we. And if any of you have taken an online course, you must know how gruelling it is, but have I been doing that, no! I've been writing for Nanowrimo, in between the bits where I chat to my friends and make them look ugly on Picnik, but.... anyways that is not the point. The point is that Nanowrimo is the hardest, most terrible, annoying thing you could ever put yourself through! It's enough to send you to the nut house. You can say goodbye to sunlight, and your social life, and don't even think about the word homework. So why put yourself through it? Because it's the most AWESOMEST contest ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who wouldn't want to stay up all night hoping to get their quota of words for the day?? I have 29306 words left to write in the span of 8 days, and it's going to be amazing!! So watch out world, I'm going to write a novel!
